Live music, demonstrations, and educational workshops give everyone something to watch, hear, and do at the DC State Fair. 

Main Stage

Our 2017 Main Stage featured live competitions, performances from local artists, and the winners of some of our most popular contests. Here’s how it all went down:

11 a.m. Live Contests: Hula Hoop and Limbo with Music from DJ Fusion (FuseBox Radio Broadcast)
11:45 a.m. Performance: After the Flood
12:30 p.m. Live Contests: Watermelon Seed Spitting and Apple Peeling
1 p.m. Performance: Sonic Castaways
2 p.m. Live Contest: Sloppy Joe Eating (Adults Only)
2:30 p.m. Live Contest: Ice Cream Eating (Kids Ages 5-12)
3 p.m. Performance: DMV Soul Line Dance
3:30 p.m. Live Contest: Double Dutch
4 p.m. Live Contests: Whisker Wars and Tattoo
5 p.m. Performance: Letena Dance
5:30 p.m. Performance: King Empire Entertainment Dance Group
5:45 p.m. Performance: Coexist Music Group
6:15 p.m. Live Contest: So You Think You Can Dance Off with Music from DJ Fusion (FuseBox Radio Broadcast)

Education Stage

Whether you want to watch a cooking demonstration or build skills that will improve a life lived in Washington, D.C., our Education Stage features demonstrations and workshops.
