Just like the story of Whisked, the pie bakery born out of a DC State Fair founder’s love of baking (who’ll be joining us at the Fair, selling some of her delicious pie), DC food business incubator Upstart Foods wants to help teach home culinary entrepreneurs how to venture into the world of business.
Upstart Foods is hosting a business conference in October to do just that, sponsored by the DC Social Innovation Project. If you’ve got what it takes in the kitchen with your pickles, jams, pies, cupcakes, homebrew, and more, then Upstart Foods’s conference might be just what you need to figure out how to go that next step!
